STORY

An amateur fireworks maker lives in a working-class neighborhood. Debts and threats from loan sharks are chasing him, and he is desperately trying to find a job to pay off his debts and marry his girlfriend, who is starting to pressure him emotionally. He agrees to work temporarily in a trendy tavern as a magician and begins his controversial career. The tavern where he is to perform belongs to a shopkeeper who has a depressed daughter confined to a wheelchair. On the day the amateur magician takes to the stage, the depressed daughter rises from her wheelchair...
